Meet Maria Reiter

HI, I’M

My specialty is helping millennial and Gen Z women shed the limitations of anxiety, perfectionism, and people-pleasing.

As an EMDR therapist, I can help you process trauma and learn new coping skills that create lasting changes in how you think and feel.

My holistic approach ensures that therapy will integrate both physical as well as psychological wellness. Making lifestyle changes that may include modifications to diet, exercise, and sleeping habits can help reduce anxiety and improve nervous system regulation.

If you’ve tried therapy before only to find that you didn’t connect with your therapist, it may have left you feeling frustrated. Perhaps you didn’t feel truly seen or heard in therapy and, as a result, didn’t receive the support you were searching for. 

My modern approach is centered around building a genuine rapport with you. Rather than remaining a blank slate with my clients, I share my authentic self in sessions. This ensures we build a strong therapeutic relationship where transformation can happen. Not only will I be your biggest cheerleader, but I will also build your trust so you feel comfortable sharing the harder things with me. Because I regularly attend therapy myself, I can attest to the fact that it works.

Telehealth is an incredible platform that ensures therapy remains convenient and accessible for individuals. With Telehealth, you can:

  • Schedule therapy sessions over your lunch break

  • Reduce commuting time to appointments

  • Be completely comfortable during therapy, wearing your pajamas or grabbing a cozy blanket if you want

All that’s required is a stable internet connection, a device with camera access to join sessions—such as a phone, tablet, or computer—and headphones to maintain privacy. I work with Gen Z and millennial women across Wisconsin and Florida.
